Tyler Young Gears Up For the 2010 Race Season
Prior to that, the teen-aged driver and his crew will head to Bristol Motor Speedway on March 20th to take part in the upcoming NASCAR Legends Race. The event will turn back the pages to the glory days of NASCAR with the Scotts EZ Seed Showdown.
Some of NASCAR's greatest drivers like Cale Yarborough, Dave Marcis, Harry Gant and others will square off in a 35-lap race. It will be a chance to pay homage to some of racing's greatest stars and to see them rekindle their competitive fires as they clash once again for bragging rights at Bristol.
Jack Ingram will be behind the wheel of Young's car, the Randco Inc./Young's Building Systems/CAF Chevrolet. Ingram is a former NASCAR Busch Series champion. Nicknamed the "Iron Man", Ingram won 31 races and five poles over eight seasons of the Busch Series, as well as the 1982 and 1985 championships. He drove the #11 Skoal Bandit entry . The race will be take place directly after the NASCAR Nationwide race and will be televised on ESPN2.
Tyler's 2009 season was limited as he concentrated on his father's health. Mr. Young received a liver transplant in October and is now recovering well, Tyler is looking forward to driving the #02 Randco Industries Chevrolet full time.

Greg Ely, crew Chief, Tyler and his entire team has worked very hard during the off season. The team has had several test sessions, including one at Bristol. They have some new sponsors, coming on board with more details coming soon, along with racing for two charities this year - The American Liver Foundation, www.liverfoundation.org and Gram of Hope: www.gramofhope.org , Partial Proceeds from each race will go to these charities.
Tyler stated that it is great to be apart of two great charities. Everyone in the Young's Motorsport organization is enthusiastic for the green flag to drop on the 2010 season.
